Chesaw Community Bible Church has been a beacon of faith in the Chesaw area of Washington. Founded on the principles of biblical truth and community outreach, our small country church has remained steadfast in its commitment to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving our community with love and compassion.
Partnering with Village Missions, we have grown into a welcoming congregation that embraces all who seek to know God and grow in their faith. Our church family is united in worship, devoted to prayer, and committed to making disciples and serving our neighbors.

Cheri and I have been in the ministry for over 21 years. I served as Associate Pastor in a church plant in Texas. We were then called to plant and build a church in Alaska, where I served as a bi-vocational pastor for 15 years.
After we retired, some Village Missionary friends remarked that Village Missions would be a great fit for us! They knew we had developed a heart for rural churches. Their words were a definite nudge from God and ignited our desire to serve in rural America where many churches can't find pastors to preach the Word and love the people. As we learned and prayed about Village Missions, we felt led to partner with them.
Cheri and I have been married for 27 years and raised four sons and one daughter.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, sufficient for all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a free gift of God, not earned by human works.
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, edify believers, and proclaim the gospel to all nations.
We practice believer's baptism as an outward expression of inward faith, and we regularly observe the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
We believe all Christians are called to share the gospel and make disciples, fulfilling Christ's command to go into all the world with the good news.
